Players first encounter Brutes beyond Chapter 8.
Brute's are agile Humanoid SF units who are faster than Dinergate's. Brutes are seen beyond Chapter 8 and in certain events. Although fragile, Brutes are incredibly devastating to SG's, for they are the first enemy players will encounter that have a significantly high AP value. This high AP value makes using MGSG echelons to battle against them risky because Brutes can quickly deal substantial damage to SGs. Their DMG is moderate and their ACC is very low, which makes SMG's or HG's, who have high evasion, more ideal for tanking.
Alternatively, one can deal with brutes by using T-dolls that are capable of slowing them down such as T-dolls with Smoke Grenade, or by taking out multiple brutes at once with SMG's who have Molotov or Hand Grenade. High ACC MG's are also still usable against them, but keep in mind to not have an SG present on the frontline.
